Drone and GIS Services
We use photos, renderings, 3-D animation, and GIS applications to bring spatial plans and maps of wetland habitats, invasive and non-invasive plants, and animal species. Our infographics help to communicate complex issues and information to our stakeholders. EES has advanced drones with specialized equipment for ecological purposes. We use project management software to control job costs, accounting, purchasing, and scheduling.

Projects
Irvine Ranch Water Department - Calflora Project
(Irvien Ranch Water Department)
Endemic performed data management system set up for additional weed data collection, account management, and data cleaning for submission.
Escondido Creek Pond Turtle Habitat Assessment
(Escondido Creek)
Endemic staff developed a data collection system using FieldMap and ArcGIS Online to gather pond turtle and steelhead habitat quality data along a 7-mile stretch of Escondido Creek with turtle biologists. They created and cleaned a comprehensive database of habitat information and produced a series of maps, offering both an overview and detailed views of the creek, with adjusted symbology for optimal visualization in the report.
Irvine ranch Water District LandCare
(IRWD, LandCare)
Endemic staff designed the data structure, automated the workflow, and maintained a large database of the invasive plant communities and nesting bird activities over 45 natural treatment system (NTS) sites across Irvine. Staff delineated the sites and defined the biological survey areas using aerial imagery at all sites. This is also used to produce a survey results map per site weekly.
Vegetation Mapping Norco Bluff - Riverside County
(Griffith Company)
Endemic GIS staff utilized the Trimble Catalyst Unit to accurately map the suitable habitat for riparian habitat restoration in the field and calculate the acreage for mitigation purposes. A geodatabase was produced, and maps were exported for clients.
Huttopia Valyermo Oak Tree Project
(Huttopia, Valyermo, LA County)
To produce a comprehensive map of oak tree locations on the project site, Endmeic studied readily available data from the client (shapefile and PDF), combined with aerial imagery and on-site field vis, to gather and verify all data, including oak tree locations, trails and roads, and mitigation areas.
SR 71/91 Bio-monitoring and Restoration
(Skanska)
With GIS, Endemic georeferenced and recreated the data on project structure and limit from the existing report in PDF. The acreage of each feature was calculated, and maps were produced around the impact area for restoration planning.
